Cadets are to be at the Armouries for 0610hrs. Bus leaves at 0630hrs. Return time is 1345hrs (1:45pm). Lunch is provided. HEALTH CARDS ARE MANDATORY. Cadets are to travel in appropriate civilian clothes. Cadets will bring in their uniforms Friday evening for practices to put into garment bags. If cadets have their own garment bags, please bring them in as we only have a limited amount to hand out for the weekend. Band will be performing at the Kingston Military Community Sports Centre "Field House" at 0915hrs. Drill Team will be performing at 1030hrs at Constantine Arena. Parents are more then welcome to watch the competitions. If they wish to take their cadet after the competition, please inform the CO on the day of. Cadets have the opportunity to apply for the Jim Marker Rotary Bursary. If you are going to college or university next year you may apply. Applications must be returned to the Sponsoring Committee NLT 6:00 PM 26 April 2017. See application below. Sunday 9th April 2017. 0800hrs-1100hrs.
Range team and volunteers to meet at CFB Trenton South Side Gym. Volunteers will be provided lunch. Volunteers: competition ends at 1700hrs (5:00pm). The Belleville Veterans’ Council wishes to invite The Royal Canadian Air Cadets 608 Squadron to participate in the commemoration of the 100th anniversary of The Battle of Vimy Ridge.
The service will be held at 1400 hrs on April 9, 2017 at the Belleville Cenotaph on Veterans Way. If available, the provision cadets to act as sentries is requested. The colour party will form up behind the Cenotaph on Reid Street at approximately 1330 hrs. A reception will be held at ANAVETS, Duke of Edinburgh Unit 201, 187 Front St., immediately after the service. Thank you for your support. Dress is tunic and medals.
