Wednesday 18 June will be our YEAR-END BBQ & CAMP INFO NIGHT. This will officially be our Final Training Night for the 2013-2014 training season.
Our Year-End BBQ will start at 1800 hrs (6:00 PM)
Parents are highly encouraged to attend our Camp Information Session to receive important information, and to ask any questions regarding Summer Training. Cadets who were selected for a Course MUST attend, or they will not receive their "authorization to enter" the Cadet Summer Training Centre (CSTC) Cadets selected for Summer Training will begin to receive important information regarding their course; such as, Travel Orders, Joining Instructions, forms, and documents.

Wednesday 11 June will be our BOWLING NIGHT. Please meet at Quinte Bowl (see map below) at 1830 hrs (6:30 PM). Bowling should conclude at approximately 2000 hrs (8:00 PM). Dress of the night is Appropriate Civilian Clothes (Cadets must wear socks). Cadets are asked to bring $5.00 with them. Quinte Bowl is located at 17 Roy Blvd in Belleville, Just North of Hwy 401 off of Hwy 62.
Next week, selected cadets will begin to receive their Travel Orders for their course as well as other pertinent information and forms. Parents are invited to attend an information session next Wednesday night. More details to follow! At this moment, all summer training selections have been made. Please note, Cadets could be selected for a course up until the start date of the course. If you have any questions regarding Summer Training, please do not hesitate to ask the office.

This marks the completion of another Training Year; however, we still have a couple more "Fun Nights" to go! Stay tuned for more information to come shortly! Our FINAL Parade Night will be Wednesday 18 June 2014 (Not including the Wonderland Trip). Info for GuestsOur 59th ACR will take place at the Belleville Armoury on Saturday 7 June 2014. Guests are to be seated at 1330 hrs (1:30 PM), the event starts at 1400 hrs (2:00 PM) and should last no longer than 90 minutes. DUE TO AN OVERWHELMING AMOUNT OF RSVP'S, WE ARE ASKING GUESTS TO BRING LAWN CHAIRS AS THE ARMOURIES IS UNABLE TO ACCOMMODATE THE LARGE AMOUNT OF CHAIRS REQUIRED FOR ALL GUESTS. MOST GUESTS WILL BE ACCOMMODATED. Info for CadetsCadets must arrive at the armouries for 1000 hrs (10:00 AM) in civilian clothing, with their uniform on a hanger for practice and set-up. Cadets may bring their own lunch, or they may bring money as it is tradition to walk to Dairy Queen for lunch. ALL cadets will be required to assist with tear-down and clean-up after the parade. IMPORTANT REMINDER TO ALL CADETS: The Annual Ceremonial Review (ACR) is a MANDATORY event for ALL cadets! You MUST attend the Annual Ceremonial Review in order to successfully complete your current training level! Cadets may be excused ONLY with the Commanding Officer's prior approval and a valid reason. We will be hosting a Year-End Trip to Canada's Wonderland on Saturday 21 June 2014. The cost of the trip is $40.00 (covers entrance fee). Payment is due Wednesday 4 June 2014. Cadets will be required to bring their own lunch or buy lunch at Wonderland. The Squadron Sponsoring Committee is paying for the transportation. We will only be able to go if 25 cadets pay up front for their tickets. |
