This sports night will be a practice for the band and drill competition with the final practice happening this Friday. Cadets not participating in band & drill will be participating in sports. Friday 26th April 2019 Band 5:00pm-7:00pm Drill 7:00pm-9:00pm Saturday 27th April 2019 For the competition, cadets are to be at Bayside Secondary 0745hrs for inspection. The band will perform at 0830hrs. The cadets will be shuttled to CFB Trenton South Side Gym, where the drill team will perform at 1030hrs. After the drill team performance, cadets are free to go. Unfortunately Gliding is complete for the day and cadets are on their way back to the armouries. Saturday 20th April 2019
Although it will be extremely unlikely that there will be flights in the morning. Cadets will still get a tour of Mountain View Airport and will get up close with the glider and tow planes. The activity may be cut short and cadets will arrive at the armouries at an earlier time. Lunch will still be provided if the activity goes past 1200hrs-1300hrs. Saturday-Sunday 11-12 May 2019 Our Spring FTX will be held at Camp Sagonaska, Vanderwater Conservation Area, Thomasburg, On. The purpose of this activity is to teach aircrew survival skills and to satisfy the mandatory/complementary training component of participating in a Field Training Exercise (FTX). Two buses will depart the Belleville Armouries at 0800hrs on Saturday morning and return at 1600hrs (4:00pm) on Sunday. Meals, sleeping bags, tents will be provided, however cadets may bring their own meals for dietary restrictions or their own equipment for personal preference. A kit list will be uploaded shortly. *HEALTH CADETS ARE MANDATORY FOR PARTICIPATION IN THIS ACTIVITY* A bus will depart the Belleville Armouries at shortly after 0800hrs and return at 1630hrs (4:30pm). Lunch will be provided but cadets are encouraged to bring snacks. Cadets are also encouraged to dress in warm civilian clothing for the flight line and to bring activities to keep themselves entertained. Only the following 40 cadets are permitted to attend:
